OUR PROGRAMS AT SAWYER CULBERSON PROJECT

We serve our community through programs focused on prevention, support, healing, and action. Each initiative is designed to meet real needs, create safety, and empower people to move forward.

Fentanyl Awareness & Prevention

We educate communities about the dangers of fentanyl through awareness campaigns, workshops, and accessible resources designed to save lives. Our prevention efforts focus on harm reduction, early intervention, and empowering individuals and families with accurate information to make safer choices.
Our goal is not only to inform, but to empower communities to respond proactively, reduce stigma, and protect lives through education, compassion, and collective responsibility.

Advocacy & Survivor Support

We provide survivor‑centered advocacy, emotional support, and practical resources for individuals and families impacted by violence, loss, and injustice. Our work prioritizes dignity, healing, and guidance through complex systems while amplifying survivor voices.

Through one‑on‑one support and community referrals, we help survivors navigate recovery with compassion, respect, and empowerment at every step of their journey.

Violence Reduction & Safety

Our violence reduction initiatives address the root causes of harm through education, community engagement, and restorative approaches. By working with local partners, we promote safer environments, accountability, and long‑term community resilience.

These efforts focus on prevention, de‑escalation, and building trust within communities to create sustainable pathways toward safety and peace.

Anti‑Trafficking Education

We raise awareness about human trafficking by educating communities on prevention, identification, and response. Our programs emphasize survivor‑informed practices and empower individuals to recognize exploitation.

By increasing knowledge and reducing stigma, we support early intervention and strengthen community responsibility in protecting vulnerable populations.

Mental Health & Grief Support

We offer compassionate mental health and grief support for individuals and families navigating trauma, loss, and emotional hardship. Through resources, referrals, and community‑based support, we help people find healing and connection.

Our approach centers empathy, accessibility, and long‑term well‑being during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Housing Stability & Basic Needs

We support individuals and families by helping them access essential resources, housing stability, and basic needs during times of crisis. Our approach addresses immediate challenges while working toward long‑term solutions.

By reducing barriers and connecting people to critical support systems, we promote stability, self‑sufficiency, and a foundation for healthier futures.

Emergency Shelter / RV Project

Our Emergency Shelter and RV Project provides short‑term, safe shelter options for individuals and families experiencing urgent housing crises. These solutions offer privacy, stability, and relief during moments of transition and uncertainty.

This program serves as a critical bridge, supporting people while longer‑term housing, services, and recovery pathways are identified.

Youth Service & Civic Projects

We empower young people through hands‑on service opportunities, leadership development, and meaningful civic engagement. These projects help youth build confidence, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills while addressing real community needs.

By encouraging active participation and responsibility, this program nurtures informed, compassionate leaders who are committed to positive change and long‑term community impact.
