Restore Hope. Stabilize Lives. Prevent Overdose
A Western Washington Stabilization ecosystem working to prevent fentanyl/Opioid overdose by restoring housing stability, healing, income, family support and community connection with highest priority toward single-parent female-led households, Spanish-speaking families, and families with children.
WHY SCP EXIST
Fentanyl risk does not exist in a vacuum; it is rooted in deep systemic fractures like instability, trauma, grief, poverty, isolation, legal vulnerability, and abandonment. When individuals are forced to navigate these overwhelming crises without a safety net, dangerous coping mechanisms often fill the void.
SCP exists to bridge this gap. We recognize that addressing substance risk means addressing the human pain behind it. By providing immediate resources, fostering community connection, and fighting the systemic neglect that breeds isolation, we work to dismantle the root causes of vulnerability. We exist because no one should have to face trauma and instability alone, and because every individual deserves a pathway to safety, dignity, and support.
SCP PROGRAMS AND WHO WE SERVE
SCP acknowledges that the places where we work and gather across the North Sound, South Sound, and Olympic Peninsula are on the traditional homelands of Coast Salish peoples and other Indigenous nations.
SCP honors the Squaxin Island Tribe and the sovereign nations of the Olympic Peninsula, including the Hoh Tribe, Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe, Makah Tribe, Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe, Quileute Tribe, Quinault Indian Nation, and Skokomish Tribe, and recognizes their continued sovereignty, stewardship, and wisdom.
